By utilising the endpoints available in the Generic POS API, third parties and customers who develop their own solutions can seamlessly integrate their electronic point of sale system with an Apicbase account. This enables them to create a comprehensive integration that functions exactly the same way as Apicbase's built-in integrations with these systems.
Sales and product catalogue data are uploaded to outlets within a library. An outlet must be POS-enabled to receive data from these endpoints, and the POS system selected in their settings must be the "Generic POS API".
